Angel Investment Network expands global reach with launch of first Chinese language site in Singapore
By Toby Hicks
Angel Investment Network (AIN), the world’s largest online angel investment platform, today announced the launch of its first Chinese language site in Singapore, marking a significant milestone in its rapid global expansion.
The move to a Chinese language site in Singapore is driven by the vast entrepreneurial potential of the world’s Chinese-speaking population and the region’s dynamic growth. With 17% of the global population speaking Chinese, Angel Investment Network is expanding into a highly entrepreneurial community.
Asia’s economic growth has made it one of the fastest growing regions for AIN connecting investors with early stage startups. Singapore, a key global financial hub, was chosen as the inaugural location due to its strong performance as one of AIN’s top 10 markets, and the high rate of bilingualism among its population, which is expected to boost engagement and local investment activity.
Mike Lebus, co-founder of Angel Investment Network said: “We are delighted to launch our first Chinese language site in Singapore. This is a strategic step to break down language barriers and directly support entrepreneurs in markets we haven’t yet covered in their local language.
As the largest angel investment community globally, our goal is to help more ambitious founders get the funding they need to scale their businesses. We look forward to a continued global expansion, connecting more investors with innovative startups.”
The new site is part of AIN’s commitment to continuously improving accessibility for its international user base. Founded in 2004, Angel Investment Network now operates 42 networks spanning 90 countries worldwide with more than 2 million users with sites in five different languages.
